This vehicle had entered the market 2 decades back with great sales success back then in 1997. The TATA had launched a Sumo Gold which is a face lift of the Sumo Victa. This vehicle was mainly made for Military use and Off-Road transportation. It comes with a 3.0 Common rail diesel motor that produces 83.1 Bhp. Flat-out, the Sumo hits 100kph in a yawning 25.87 seconds but once there, it’ll cruise with relative ease. Thanks to the Power steering which is very light and pilots the Vehicle like breeze. On the inside, it looks frugal as it has not changed much. TATA has added some roof mounted AC vents at the back which keeps the massive cabin cooled, Power windows and Bluetooth connectivity.
