Car Sales In December 2020
The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) passenger vehicle wholesales around 2,76,544
passenger cars were sold in the Indian market for December 2020.
Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Tata Motors continue to dominate the Indian car market, registering the highest sales.

Maruti registering the highest volume sales 1,40,754 in the Indian market in December 2020.
Hyundai and Tata Motors continue to retain their positions at top 2 and top 3 to complete by 47,400 and 23,546 sales , while Kia Motors positioned fourth in November 2020, dropped down one position, losing out to Mahindra.
Renault, Honda and Toyota came in sixth, seventh and eighth position, respectively where Renault sold 9,800 units, while Honda and Toyota followed with 8,638 units and 7,483 units. MG Motor came in ninth position with 4,010 units of sales and Volkswagen after registering month-on-month improvement with 2,401 units of sales in December 2020.
